My name is Shawn DePaz and I am a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.

As an advertising major during my undergraduate career, my path to sports journalism was far from straight. Even then, growing up in the sports-crazed city of Buffalo, NY made a career in sports an inevitability. Now, I want to combine the creativity and understanding of audiences I gained from my undergraduate experience with my love of storytelling to shake up the sports media industry.

My goal is to work with a professional or collegiate sports program in social media or content creation and put my unique skillset to use.
